About the Artist
I have the unique privilege to pursue multiple passions in my life. I work as a therapist full-time, helping others find a way forward through difficulty, and invest my time as an artist in the evenings to maintain my own health and to bring more beauty and inspiration into the world.
I graduated from Florida State University with a BS in Studio Art in 2007 and with a MS in Art Therapy in 2009.
My view of the world as a therapist finds its way into my artwork as I look for beauty and hope in unexpected places, finding vibrant color in shadow, a way forward in uncertainty, aiming to produce light and resilience in this life.
My artwork features bold and vivid colors, texture, and brushstrokes full of movement that reflect the human experience where both sorrow and joy exist in the beauty of everyday moments.
